2024 AWARDS-SEASON LOOKS WE LOVE

The latest looks from the red carpet that we’re still thinking about.

Being in the thick of the awards season has left us with plenty of red carpet looks to gaze at! We’re still obsessed with a few of these designer looks from our favourite celebs:

AYO EDEBIRI IN ALL LEATHER
The Bear and Abbott Elementary star has had a steep rise to fame. Stepping out in an all leather, structured dress, Ayo took home the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the 2023 Emmy Awards. This look is both timeless and seemingly lucky! Though the dress wasn’t adorned with glitter and jewels, nor frills or ruffles, the unique fit made a bold statement.

COLEMAN DOMINGO GOES GOLD
We often see red carpets decked with gorgeous gowns and men in classic black-and-white suits. Coleman Domingo added some flair to the Emmy Awards red carpet with his golden-yellow suit, tailored to perfection, and a pale blue shirt. The Colour Purple star caught our attention with the striking colour combo, while his glittering gold coat made sure we couldn’t look away!

JENNA ORTEGA IN FLORALS
You can’t go wrong with a floral dress. Jenna Ortega swapped her trademark Wednesday look for a lighter, femme fatale gown. This dress is a refreshing take on the typical floral gowns, with its sheer panels and Victorian-esque skirt – an elegant piece for an elegant evening!

BARRY KEOGHAN REFRESHES A CLASSIC
Another creative take on a typical suit, Barry Keoghan strutted down the Golden Globes carpet in a red, textured look. Best known for his role in the popular 2017 horror film, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, and most recently his lead role in Saltburn, his red look felt like an homage to his talent for playing disturbed characters. We especially love the gold chains, pendants and pearl details that feel so carefully considered.

TARAJI P. HENSON SERVES SILHOUETTE
The household name drew reference to her recent role in The Colour Purple with her sleek and flattering purple ensemble. Taraji pulled off the cut-out plunging neckline and luxe draping for a refined look. We see many recreating this look for the perfect wedding guest wardrobe!

ALLISON WILLIAMS KEEPS IT CLASSY
Scream queen, Allison Williams kept things classy with a crystal-embellished white jumpsuit. We love that this look was kept simple with sparkling silver and diamond jewellery and a sleek updo. Allsion proves that you can do style and elegance without risking comfort.

SKAI JACKSON'S SPARKLING DREAM
We’ve watched Skai grow up right in front of us! The Disney Channel star stepped out on the Golden Globes red carpet with a sparkling dress to give any other sparkling dresses a run for their money. Showing off just a smokey eye, there was no need for jewels with a dress like this!

HANNAH WADDINGHAM IN MINT TULLE
Nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in the hit series Ted Lasso, Hannah stunned on the red carpet. With its beaded bodice and fluffy tulle train, this look was the gown of our dreams. A flattering look that presents glamorously even when photographed.

DUA LIPA PAINTS THE TOWN RED
Does Dua Lipa ever disappoint? The pop princess went all red at the Critics’ Choice Awards in a ruffled piece that looks like it should be displayed in an art gallery. Her monochromatic moment made the carpet seem as if it was laid out just for her!

ZAWE ASHTON'S FLOWING KAFTAN
Known for her role as Dar-Benn in The Marvels, Zawe Ashton's super-star status translated to the Emmy Awards. Keeping her look both flowing and vibrant, her yellow kaftan with embellished neckline stood out on the carpet. We’re definitely rocking our kaftans this season!
