BONGIWE MSOMI
Known for leading our national netball team to victory, Bongiwe Msomi has risen from humble beginnings to pro status, earning herself a PUMA sponsorship and ambassadorship. Since her debut on the netball scene in 2011 at the age of 23, Bongi has helped to raise the profile of not only the Proteas, but South African netball excellence across the world. We’re watching this space when it comes to Bongiwe Msomi!
NATASHA JOUBERT
Crowned our Miss South Africa 2023, Natasha Joubert is a shining example of brains and beauty. Driven to take part in pageants never stopped her hunger for entrepreneurship. She’s the founder of her own fashion line, Natalia Jefferys, and her advocacy campaign Natasha Joubert Collective, making education financially accessible. Her dedication to juggling her various projects has us in awe.
YOLISWA MQOCO
Glamour, gorgeousness and pure gold! Yoliswa Mqoco is not only our human look book, but winner of Glamour’s Fashion Game-Changer Award. With style and elegance coming through every image, she’s dedicated to creating art and visual storytelling through clothing as a designer, digital creator and creative director. We can’t help but admire her.
PAMELA MTANGA
A boss and an award-winning multimedia entrepreneur. What more can we say? Pamela Mtanga is a force to be reckoned with. She’s dedicated to inspiring women to be their best selves through her brand, Honey Comb Hair. But it doesn’t stop there! She’s also the founder of Beyond Human Nature, a non-profit organisation aimed at positively impacting childhood development in our country. We’re all for seeing what one of the hottest digital creators does next!
TYLA
This list wouldn’t be complete without Tyla Laura Seethal, or Tyla as she’s famously known! Taking the globe by storm with her hit “Water”, we’ve known Tyla since the iconic South African summer track “Getting Late” featuring Kooldrink. She’s become everyone’s fave with almost 400 million streams global streams on Spotify, and collaborations with big names such as Travis Scott and Ayra Starr. We can’t wait to see how far she goes in 2024!
