With wisdom in their words and strength in their steps, these women have carved paths, lifted spirits, and built the heart of our team. This Women’s Month, our team celebrates them!

When asked who I’d like to honour for Women’s month, my mom is usually my go-to answer (and always will be) but this year, I want to shoutout a special group of women I’ve known since I still had milk teeth. My childhood best friends are still a big part of my life, and they’ve been a constant source of love, laughs and support. We bring out the best in each other, while also creating space for growth as individuals. I’m so lucky to have such smart, funny, driven and joy-filled women in my corner.

This month, I honour my mother. My mom – a single mother who somehow managed to do it all with so much love and strengthshaped me into the person I am today. She taught me to know my worth and never settle for less. When I was young, my mom signed me up for both ballet and karate – showing me that I can be a soft girl and a “warrior” at the same time. She’s encouraged every dream I’ve had and has always pushed me to grow into someone I can be proud of.

The woman who has profoundly influenced my life is my church mother. As a child, I was consumed by an anger that led me to isolate myself from others. Solitude became my refuge, until I began attending church. There, I encountered this remarkable woman who took me under her wing. With gentle persistence, she introduced me to prayer and taught me effective communication skills, all while providing a safe space for expression without judgment. Thanks to her nurturing guidance, today I can now express my emotions healthily instead of being driven solely by past grievances.

The three most impactful women in my life are my grandmother, my aunt and Taylor Swift. My grandmother is the kindest and most generous person Ive looked up to her for ages. My aunt is the strongest woman I know and is always quick to lend a helping hand. Lastly, Taylor Swift’s music is the soundtrack to my life. I’ve found that no matter what the situation is, there is always a song that will help me through it.

The women who have shaped me are my mom and sister. My mother showed me how to be a woman who can do things on her own and be independent. She taught me that you do not just live for yourself, but you also open doors for your children when youre no longer there to be with them. My sister taught me how to be brave, how to choose my own happiness and to care for others. I am the woman I am today because of them. I am a strong, independent woman who knows what I want in life – all because of my mom and my sister
