3 delicious summer smoothies

Filled with nutritious goodness, and so convenient – smoothies are a summer favourite and it’s easy to see why! Here are three delicious smoothie recipes to suit your needs – from a nourishing green smoothie to a wake-me-up surprise and a tasty immune booster!
What you’ll need for the nutritious spinach and fruit smoothie:
- cup spinach
- 1/2 cup chopped pineapple
- 1 chopped banana
- tbsp honey or syrup
- 1 cup milk
How to do it:
- Pour it all in and blend away!
What you’ll need for the wake-me-up coffee smoothie:
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup ice
- 1 chopped banana
- 2 tbsp honey or syrup
- 1/2 cup cold brewed coffee
How to do it:
- Soak 1/4 cup oats in 1/2 cup milk and set aside for 10 minutes.
- Blend 1 cup ice, banana and add honey or syrup.
- Add 1/2 cup cold brewed coffee and the oats mixture.

What you’ll need for the immune boosting smoothie:
- 1 chopped banana
- 7 cm piece sliced ginger
- 2 chopped carrots
- 1 orange
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- Juice of one lemon
- 2 tbsp full cream yoghurt
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- A crack of black pepper
- 1 cup ice
How to do it:
- Pour it all in and blend away!
