Crunchy ice cream delight

Spring is around the corner, and there really is no better way to welcome the new season than with a scoop (or three) of yummy, butter ice cream. Creamy and indulgent, we show you how you can make your own flavour-filled ice cream topping in a few easy steps.
What you’ll need for your ice cream topping:
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ⅔ cup panko/ breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Vanilla ice cream
- Syrup
METHOD:
- Melt butter in a small pot over medium heat
- Add panko/ breadcrumbs and stir continuously (about 3 minutes), until the mix turns golden brown
- Remove from heat and transfer to a bowl
- Add sugar, salt and cinnamon. Stir until everything is evenly incorporated
- Allow to cool completely (about 20 minutes)
- Roll 1 scoop of ice cream at a time in the panko/ breadcrumbs mixture and then place it on a serving platter
- Dust your serving platter with icing sugar for added sweetness
- Drizzle syrup over your ice cream scoops. Serve immediately
- Add some fruit for extra flavour
- Serve chilled
