Get inspired by celebrity eye make up looks done right

In a campaign for French luxury perfumes and cosmetics Lancôme, the star wears her blue liner on the lower lid which lifts her eyes and creates a delicious pop effect. What makes this look work is that her upper lids are in a darker shade that doesn’t compete with the lower liner.

No one serves us looks quite like YouTube sensation Mihlali Ndamase. Mihlali shows us how it’s done with a monotone facebeat of pink and purple hues. She uses the pink for the middle of her eyelid and smokes it out with a deep purple. To complement her eyes, she paints her lips in a similar shade of purple. Stunning.

Queen Zozi graces us with a golden neutral look accentuated with green on the inner corners of her eyes. Her green headwrap deliberately makes her eye colour stand out, drawing more attention to these features. If you’re trying to make any colour pop, pair it with golden tones.
