Try these simple hacks to a fresh face without makeup.

Living busy lives means we often don’t have all our makeup on hand, or we simply don’t have the time for a step-by-step makeup routine. Maybe you’re worried you’ll botch the look because you feel that the application is complicated? Whatever the reason, looking good doesn’t always mean you need every product. Sometimes all you need is the essentials and our handy beauty hacks to carry you through!

TRY VASELINE AS A BROW GEL

 All you need is an old shadow, hairspray and some Vaseline for a quick fill of the brows. If you don’t have an eyeshadow on hand, leave it out for a simple clear brow shaper! This is much cheaper than buying a brow gel and makes use of things you probably already have.  

USE TINTED LIP BALM AS A BLUSH

Use tinted lip balm to keep your lips moisturised and your cheeks rosy! There are plenty of cream blushes out there that have similar ingredients as your trusty tinted lip balm, so why not get more bang for your buck? 

USE FOOD COLOURING AS A QUICK LIP TINT

Creating the perfect lip stain is as simple as mixing red, pink, purple, orange and yellow food colourings. Play around with colour combinations, dip in a cotton bud and dab the mixture on your lips for a quick lip transformation. 

TURN EYESHADOW INTO EYELINER WITH A LITTLE MICELLAR WATER

No need to dish out extra cash for a graphic liner, simply dip a brush into some micellar water and dab it in eyeshadow. The micellar allows the eyeshadow to transform into a painter’s palette that’s perfect for creating a bold eye look. The possibilities are endless!
