1. COMFORT ZONE: BEACH COVER-UPS

It’s summer, which means lazy days at the pool or the seaside. If you tend to hide your body under loose-fitting kaftans because the thought of a bikini is too terrifying, perhaps you just haven’t found the right one for your shape. You don’t need to bare all when it comes to beachwear. Full costumes are a big trend right now, with celebs like Khloé Kardashian and Rihanna sporting gorgeous one-pieces. A full costume doesn’t have to be boring – keep it sexy with a low back or an on-trend metallic or bold print. If you love the idea of wearing a bikini but don’t want to show off too much skin, go for high-waisted bottoms and a more supportive halterneck-style top.



2. COMFORT ZONE: MUTED COLOURS
While black is always a safe bet as it tends to flatter most figures and pairs well with almost everything, the warmer weather calls for a few pops of colour. If you’re not ready to wear colour head-to-toe, start small and invest in bright accessories like colourful earrings, a pair of mirrored sunglasses, a sunhat in a bold shade or even a pair of beautiful yellow or blue strappy sandals.



3. COMFORT ZONE: FOREVER FLATS
If you shy away from wearing heels because you prefer comfort over style (or because you’re blessed with height and don’t want to tower over everyone), it’s time to break out of the flat-shoe rut. You don’t have to swap your sandals for stilettos overnight. You can ease into heels by opting for more comfortable block or court heels, which pair well with everything from denim to dresses. Wedges are also a summer classic. If you’re worried about being too tall, opt for a level-heel wedge rather than a platform.
