CELEBS MAKING CO-PARENTING LOOK EASY

Whether these celebrities make-up or break-up, their kids are always their top priority. Consciously uncoupling or not – we look at celebs who make co-parenting look easy.

JASON MAMOA AND LISA BONET
The Aquaman star, Jason Momoa, and actor Lisa Bonet were together for 16 years before they announced their split at the beginning of 2022. The former pair announced their split by sharing a joint statement on Momoa’s Instagram. The statement explained that, despite their split, their love will carry on and they will still be devoted to their children. Jason and Lisa share two children named Lola and Nakoa-Wolf.

Jason also shares a special bond with Zoë Kravitz, Lisa’s daughter with rocker Lenny Kravitz. He and his children even attended the The Batman premier back in March 2022 in support of Kravitz. "We're just so proud. Lisa couldn't be here so we're representing, me and the babies. We're very excited to just be here. ... It's still family, you know?" Jason told Entertainment Tonight.

J-LO AND MARK ANTHONY
Pop stars Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were married for 10 years before heading their separate ways in 2014. The former duo successfully co-parents twins Emme and Maximillian.

J-LO has described Marc as her best friend on numerous occasions. “We’re just in a really great place, and the kids get to spend time with the two of us more together and see us working together. It’s just good for the whole family,” she told People.

WILL SMITH AND SHEREE ZAMPINO
Will Smith and ex-wife Sheree Zampino show us how successful co-parenting looks raising their son, Trey. The world-famous actor and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star were married for three years before going their separate ways in 1995. Will is now married to actor and Red Table Talk co-host Jada Pinkett Smith and the pair have two children together, Jaden and Willow. But Will and Jada have made sure to include Trey and Sheree in their family.

“When I married Will, I knew Trey was part of the package - period! If I didn’t want that, I needed to marry someone else. Then I learned if I was going to love Trey, I had to learn to love the most important person in the world to him – his mother. And the two of us may not have always liked each other, but we have learned to love each other,” Jada said in a since-deleted Facebook post.

GWYNETH PALTROW AND CHRIS MARTIN
In 2014, the actor and Goop founder, Gwyneth Paltrow and then-husband, Coldplay front-man Chris Martin, announced that they were "consciously uncoupling”. What does that mean? Simply put – they were getting a divorce. The former spouses share two children, Apple and Moses.

"We really made the commitment to maintaining the family — even though we weren't going to be a couple, and so we sort of thought through that. How would that work and how would that be? Both Chris and I have made a commitment to continue to love the things about each other that we've always loved and to really continue to develop our friendship and to find ways to continue to communicate," Gwyneth explained on NBC’s Today.
