Now that we are easing out of our work-from-home capsule, office looks are back! We show you how to mix and match closet staples and turn them into wonderful workwear.
The new era of office wear has arrived – and it’s super comfortable. Pre-Covid office wear used to be quite stiff and rigid but thankfully, comfortability has finally won first prize.
Entering the office again (after working from home) can be daunting and somewhat stressful. Not to worry, though, we have broken down a few tips and tricks that you can add to your existing wardrobe to spice up your basics.

Bold Blazers
This is the professional woman’s bread and butter. The classic blazer has evolved into numerous styles to dress up for every occasion. Luckily for us, this means better variety and more opportunities to look amazing!
This piece is so versatile that you can easily shift from the boardroom to a night out. In the modern world of office wear, the blazer can instantly elevate a casual look. For example, a body suit paired with pants and layered with a casual blazer is a great combo for back-to-work attire.

Power Dresses
This staple has a place in every wardrobe, and the perfect dress can carry you from summer through winter. One of those is a ‘Midi dress’. With this piece, details are everything: blowy sleeves, detailed ruching and pleats are always a winner. The second must-have is the wrap dress – a miracle of an item.
This piece flatters any body type, cinching in the waist while drawing the eye down towards the flowy hem. Wrap dresses also come in a variety of colours and patterns – perfect for any season.

The White Shirt
Any well put-together, professional outfit begins with a classic piece: the crisp white shirt. This staple can be paired with almost any bottom, from trousers to shorts.
But for your first day back at the office, try something new: pair your basic white shirt with a vibrant, textured or patterned skirt. Top it off with a simple sandal or mule; you’ll instantly look and feel chic.

Breezy Blouses
A basic neutral blouse can go a long way in keeping you cool during the summer, while still looking composed and professional. This item can also be complemented with other layers during winter, such as long skirts, trousers, or a trench coat.
If you aren’t a fan of the masculine-style classic button-up white shirt, try a feminine blouse. Ruffled collars or flowy fabrics will add a sense of romance and elegance to your workwear. And, if romance isn’t your thing, blouses with detailed collars and cuffs will add a bit of jazz to your look.

Snazzy Sneakers
You may be happy to hear that you can officially retire your formal pumps and introduce something casual, yet chic: white sneakers. The holy grail of footwear, white kicks can be paired with almost anything, from pants shorts to dresses, and even suits.
This stylish and modern footwear plays for both the formal and informal teams – which makes us love it even more!
