Whether sweet or savoury, a delicious dough has endless possibilities. And what’s better, you don’t necessarily have to make it yourself. These three quick and easy treats is made with store-bought dough – a hit for any gathering!
Cinnamon buns
Brush rolled-out dough with melted butter.
Sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.
Add chopped white chocolate.
Roll into a log.
Bake at 160°C until golden.
Add orange zest and juice to icing sugar and drizzle generously over buns.
Quick homemade pizza
Fry onions and leftover cooked pork, beef or chicken.
Add paprika, butter and fresh thyme.
Drizzle generously with honey and cook until sticky.
Add dried mixed herbs into tomato sauce and spread over dough.
Top with onion and pork mixture, mixed peppers and cover with cheese.
Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes or until golden.
Top with fresh basil, slice and serve.
Garlic and spring onion pull apart bread
Combine softened butter, garlic, spring onion, chopped chilli and fresh herbs.
Blitz until smooth.
Divide dough into small balls and dip into melted butter. Arrange them into a skillet.
Bake at 160°C for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
Serve with the remaining butter mixture and your favourite meat.
