It’s time to spice up your chicken! Make these chicken marinades in 3 easy steps for a meal that will leave your family wanting more and more. The best part? All of these marinades can be frozen and cooked when you’re ready.
SMOKY BBQ MARINADE
YOU WILL NEED:
- 3 tsp mustard
- ¼ cup tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (you could also use a different vinegar from your cupboard)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cloves chopped garlic
HOW TO DO IT:
- Mix all the ingredients together
- Pour the mixture over the chicken pieces
- Leave to marinade for 30 minutes and cook or freeze
COCONUT CURRY CHICKEN
YOU WILL NEED:
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp mild curry powder
- the juice of 1 lime
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 2 tbsp honey (you may also use brown sugar)
- large pinch of salt
HOW TO DO IT:
- Mix all the ingredients together
- Pour the mixture over the chicken pieces
- Leave to marinade for 30 minutes and cook or freeze
- Served with coriander and chopped spring onion
CORIANDER AND LIME MARINADE
YOU WILL NEED:
- Juice of 2 limes
- 2 tsbp of honey
- 2 cloves chopped garlic
- Handful chopped coriander leaves
- Generous pinch of salt
HOW TO DO IT:
- Mix all the ingredients together
- Pour the mixture over the chicken pieces
- Leave to marinade for 30 minutes and cook or freeze
