OMELETTE IN A MUG 3 WAYS


An easy omelette in a mug is the perfect breakfast if you don’t want to make much mess. 


These 3 tasty options are great for when you’re in a rush, but still want to eat something tasty and filling before you run out the door! Did we mention there’s barely any mess? Save this recipe for when you’re in a hurry or just need an easy peasy breakfast idea.


Viennas, mushrooms, cheese

Ingredients
3 large eggs
½ cup chopped mushrooms
½ cup sliced viennas
½ cup cheddar cheese
1 tbsp chopped chives
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt for seasoning

How to make it:
  1. Crack 3 eggs into a large mug
  2. Add your mushrooms, sliced viennas, cheddar cheese, chives and parsley.
  3. Then season with salt and mix
  4. Place the mug into the microwave for 5-8 minutes and enjoy!

Mixed peppers, ham, sage

Ingredients
2 eggs
1 cup diced mixed peppers
½ cup diced ham
1 tbsp chopped sage
Salt for seasoning

How to make it:
  1. Crack 2 eggs into a mixing bowl
  2. Add your diced mixed peppers, ham, chopped sage and salt
  3. Mix well and pour into 2 mugs
  4. Microwave for 2-3 minutes and enjoy!

Margherita omelette

Ingredients
3 eggs
½ cup chopped tomatoes
½ cup ricotta cheese
Pinch of origanum
Small handful of basil leaves
¼ cup grated pecorino cheese
Salt and pepper for seasoning

How to make it
  1. Crack 3 eggs into a mixing bowl
  2. Add chopped tomatoes, ricotta cheese, origanum, basil leaves and pecorino cheese
  3. Mix well and pour into 3 mugs
  4. Microwave for 2-3 minutes
  5. Season with salt and black pepper and enjoy!
