3 DELICIOUS CHICKEN WING RECIPES



Mild, hot or spicy – however you like your chicken wings, we’ve got a recipe to satisfy your palette! Best of all, if you prepare your chicken wings ahead of time and leave to marinate to pack in all of the flavour, they’ll only take a few minutes to grill or braai.


What you’ll need for the herbed chicken wings:
  • Chicken wings
  • 3 tbsp thyme
  • 3 tbsp rosemary
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • salt
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp white wine vinegar or lemon juice

How to do it:
  1. Add thyme, rosemary and thinly sliced garlic to wings.
  2. Season with salt and coat with oil.
  3. Add white wine vinegar or lemon juice and mix well.
  4. Leave to marinate for 1-2 hours or overnight.
  5. Grill in a hot pan or braai.
  6. Serve with mayo and enjoy!

What you’ll need for the hot chicken wings:
  • 1-2 large potatoes
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • Salt
  • Dried herbs of your choice
  • Mayo for serving

How to do it:
  1. Melt butter and hot together and add chicken wings.
  2. Add coriander, thyme and season with salt.
  3. Leave to marinate for 2 hours.
  4. Grill in a hot pan with the remaining sauce.
  5. Serve with sliced spring onion and enjoy!

What you’ll need for the curried chicken wings:
  • Chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 4 tbsp chopped coriander and extra for serving
  • Salt

How to do it:
  1. Coat the chicken wings with the mixture.
  2. Grill in a hot pan with oil until golden brown.
  3. Delicious curried chicken wings.
  4. Serve with fresh coriander and enjoy!
