1. TURN HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES INTO WORKOUTS
Turn your holiday activities into exercise routines. Anything that gets your body moving is a form of exercise. Turn your pool days into an extra workout by doing a few laps, or speed up your leisurely beach stroll and do a brisk early-morning walk. Turning some of your holiday activities into workouts is an effective way to keep in shape while having fun.
2. FIND A WORKOUT BUDDY
A holiday workout buddy will not only keep you motivated but can also make getting fit more fun. Find someone with similar sporting interests so that you can make any hangout a workout session. Now you can enjoy golf, a game of padel or a yoga class and a chat session every day.

3. FIND SIMPLE WORKOUTS
Curating a simple workout routine with only 2–3 exercises for 10 minutes is more than enough to be beneficial. Whether that be push-ups, squats and a plank, or alternating with other exercises, spare a few minutes of your day and you are good to go. Alternatively, spending a few minutes doing stretching exercises is just as effective to prevent your muscles from getting stiff.
4. ENJOY YOURSELF
As much as you want to keep up your fitness, it’s also important to create a balance. Prioritise letting loose and having fun, while occasionally spoiling yourself… without feeling guilty, of course. Eat that cheesecake. You’re on holiday. Enjoy every moment!
