MAKE EASY PEPPERMINT CRISP ICE-CREAM SANDWICHES
A classic flavour in every household, these peppermint crisp sandwiches just need to be assembled from store-bought ingredients. It’s a fuss-free way to keep them engaged through the process of making and eating their sweet treats!

This dessert has only 4 ingredients and they are ALL on special ???? from the 10 -22nd October. - Country Fresh Vanilla ice cream R54.99 - Bakers Tennis Biscuits Assorted 200g any 2 R40 - Nestle Caramel Treat Assorted 360g each R33.99 - Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate slab assorted 80/88g (excludes bubbly chocolate) Ingredients - 2L Country Fresh Vanilla ice cream - Tin of Caramel Treat - 1 pack of Bakers Tennis biscuits - Slab or 2 of Peppermint crisp or Crunchie -Dairy milk chocolate. - Baking dish 20x20cm or thereabouts. MUST BE ABLE TO FIT IN THE FREEZER. - Baking paper. Method - Remove the ice cream from the fridge and allow it to soften - will take about 20-30min. - While you wait, prepare you dish with baking paper - see video. This will help you to remove the sandwiches from the dish once frozen. - Add the caramel treat to a bowl, using a whisk or spoon give it a good stir to soften it up. - Place 1 layer of tennis biscuits at the bottom of your prepared dish - Add the soft ice cream - Add 1/2 to all of the caramel treat to the ice cream and stir it in, trying to give it the marble look. - Once done, smooth it out and lay tennis biscuits on top. - Cover with cling wrap and freeze overnight. - The following morning: break up the 2 chocolates using a blender or rolling pin. - Remove the ice cream from the dish and cut into squares following the outline of the tennis biscuits. I trimmed the edges of each sandwich with a sharp knife. Work quickly. - Once done, dunk the sides of the sandwiches into the chocolate until all sides are completely covered. - Serve immediately or wrap up individually in cling wrap and wax wrap paper and place back in the freezer until ready to eat. #icecream #icecreamsandwich #caramel #summerdessert @Bakers Biscuits South Africa ♬ As It Was - Leasis
