MISTAKE #2: USING POWDER BRONZES
Ditch your powder bronzer this sunny season and try a bronzing cream instead to get that glow just right. “Over-bronzing in the summer is a chronic problem. If your skin has had any sun exposure, chances are it will have a drier texture, and applying powder will make your skin look drier. Try nourishing the skin with a cream bronzing product,” explains John Stapleton, a senior artist at M.A.C.

MISTAKE #3: NOT SWITCHING TO WATERPROOF MASCARA
Few things are worse than a midday mascara blunder during a hot day. Avoid the raccoon aesthetic and switch out your regular mascara for a waterproof one. “A waterproof eyeliner won’t smear or run and can even handle the swimming pool,” Sesnek explains.
